America Over All

America Over All

November 8, 2016. The end of it all.
America, with Constitution devoted to disallowing tyrants.
Elected a tyrant.
He’ll bring his fist down, and we’ll laugh.
America over all!

Pay up NATO, pay cash.
Or the Russians will have free reign.
And you better suckle the fattened tit.
America over all!

America over all!
America over all!
Or die die trying.
America will fall!

Capitalism has it’s final peak.
Work for everyone, or else.
Cut them off if they take a drink.
Or smoke to enlightenment.

Money for few, depravity for most.
A military machine built for perpetuity.
A strangle for them, to keep us in line.
Lost a hope for real liberty.

America over all!
America over all!
Vast and deep and wide.
And completely vacant.

(Note:  I censored a stanza due to its offending me, ironic, since I wrote it.  It will, however, appear in any print version of this poem.)
